Pucca Funny Love Story

Crop

The Wishing Tree

Lost

Mew

ABSOLUTELY no tracing. Did this in 2004, when Pokemon was still in.

Untitled

Nobody would have guessed that this was supposed to be an Organizational Lines Practice. NOBODY. Right? Because, the space and depth of the objects look so confusing, the values are wrong all over the place, the sizes are not proportionate, and of course, there are absolutely no organizational lines in this picture. But, oh well, I still have no idea why I got an A. Therefore I upload this up for more critiques. Oh, and again, this is one of my Basic Drawing drawings when I was still attending Purdue University.

Extraordinary

If only I know how to duplicate this image and make it digital. It could have been better.

Fly Away

Let's break the rules, liberate ourselves, and fly towards freedom.

Let's breakaway from the norms, and fly higher than all of the crown canopies of any forest.

Let's fly up, up, and away... to Heaven.

Clana

Dedicated to Clark Kent and Lana Lang. From a fan of Smallville.

Jay Chou

Hurry up and kill your burning temptations of spooning him all over.

Whimsical

Happy times, good ol' days, unforgettable memories - they're like fluttering butterflies that fly in no direction. They sprinkle every tiny piece of your dream and seed them into you, and then those memories they planted on you grow as fast as a healthy tree.

Bury those memories safe under the ground. Now let's plant new seeds again and watch the trees grow.

Simplicity

Vibrant. Energetic. Dynamic. Yet simple. Simplicity itself expresses so many emotions. Why should I add more?

Slighty darker, but still simple.

February

February 30th

This date never exist. Butterflies don't fly above the clouds. Reindeers never stand behind the bush, waiting so patiently to be eaten. Snowflakes are always white and never blue. Tree branches just don't hang above the sky without support. All these are impossible by nature - they will never exist on Earth, not even once in a blue moon.

February

On the contrary, all things are possible in Art.

Butterflies

It's just black and white, despite how God created the butterflies so colorfully. It just shows how beautiful butterflies are without their colors. It just shows how creative our God is. He is THE Artist.

Serenity

A vibrant illustration of a mermaid playing her harp while watching the sunset with her dolphin friend. This was done through my sudden de javu. The picture flashed into my head for a very brief moment - it's like it's a godsend. Sadly, this digital copy was poorly scanned. I have to cut the slight left and right portions - the tip of dearest dolphin's nose with a little section of the harp, and floating seagull's right wings.

So while we are contemplating this picture, the question that pops into our minds is: Why "Serenity"? The light, rhythmic winds that flips the tips of her hair and blows the edge of the waters in harmony - and with the music she plays, creatures stop for a moment to listen to her, and to the songs of nature that the winds composed. While there are many sounds described above, to others the scene may seem tranquil. probably because you can't hear anything coming from a full moon who brings out silence; who heeds no stories; who sees only darkness; who touches only vacuum; but only illuminates light in the dusk. But to those who are listening, you are very much closer to Heaven than the minority.

You'll Never Know What's Coming

A copy of myself when I was a toddler. Even at an innocent age as early as when I was about 2 to 4 years old, the shadow has already been following me up till today. Nevertheless, there are also a whole lot more shadows ahead of me - bigger ones, taller ones - and they're heading towards me. From that moment onwards, they will continue to try to test my innocence in the coming years.

Will I continue being innocent? Should I not face these monsters by avoiding them? Or should I bravely face them with my courage? Will I be one of them after that? Or will I return to my innocence?
