Lost in Love; Love Lost; Lost Love

You are certain of your own personal morals and principles that you set for yourself in life,

But somehow, you are still missing something very important:

You have not found another soul, that other recognizable soul to share your wonderful life with,

And to get the same share from.

One day, one very fine day, you found love.

Love is innocent;

And it grows, day by day, slowly but surely.

Love makes all things seem clearer than ever,

Because love liberates everything,

And so, slowly but surely, you learn to fly.

Unstable, it is; full of ups and downs, yet sometimes steady too;

Then again, it’s life.

But another day comes when you fly long enough that you don’t know how to land again when you need to do so.

You lost your pace, you grew more unstable,

Inconsistency, uncertainty, and therefore weak.

And thus you are lost.

You don’t know what is wrong, you don’t know when it all started, you don’t know where to go, you don’t know who’s to blame, and all that happened without you yourself knowing why.

However…

As long as you feel that love is there, real love is still there,

It will find a way.

Love will definitely find a way.

So find your way back into love,

And life.

Because it will find you back.

Because you know you have recognized another soul just like yours before.

Because in your heart you KNOW.

Therefore, a day will come when the way is clear,

Thus may God’s will be done.

A writing inspired by Hugh Grant's and Haley Bennett's "Way Back Into Love" and also by life's experiences. Here's the lyrics of "Way Back Into Love", to get a better idea of what I am trying to say in my writing.

I've been living with a shadow overhead
I've been sleeping with a cloud above my bed
I've been lonely for so long
Trapped in the past
I just can't seem to move on

I've been hiding all my hopes and dreams away
Just in case I ever need them again someday
I've been setting aside time
To clear a little space in the corners of my mind

All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it true without a way back into love

I've been watching but the stars refuse to shine
I've been searching but i just don't see the signs
I know that it's out there
There's got to be something for my soul somewhere

I've been looking for someone to shed some light
Not somebody just to get me through the night
I could use some direction
And I'm open to your suggestions

All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
And if I open my heart again
I guess I'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end

There are moments when I don't know if it's real
Or if anybody feels the way I feel
I need inspiration
Not just another negotiation

All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it through without a way back into love
And if I open my heart to you
I'm hoping you'll show me what to do
And if you help me to start again
You know that I'll be there for you in the end

The End of Pottermania

"All is well."
She sighs :)
She closes her eyes.
She falls asleep on the futon.
She first snores, and then she falls down from the futon. So does the Dark Lord.
She wakes up.
She opens her eyes.
She sighs :)
All is well.

I am not really sure whether this is a form of haiku, but what's for sure is that it's a poem. I try to express this impression of the excellent ending of the last book of the Harry Potter series. It is so good that this reader ("she") smiled to to herself ( " :) " ) and fell into a good sleep so immediately, and so she began to enter the happy world of Harry Potter in her dream, joining Harry Potter and his friends. Just the moment she entered the world, she fell down from the couch and banged her head so hard that she woke up. But when she realized that nothing is wrong, she sighed with relief again and realized that everything is fine.

You do realize that there are 9 lines, right? The first and the last lines are the same, the second and the eighth are the same, the third and the seventh have opposite meanings, the fourth and the sixth have opposite meanings, and the fifth line alone is the longest line and so it happens that the fifth line has no pair out of the 9, unlike the other lines that I paired. But everything is in present tense. Just so to say that all is well right now, right at this moment, so the past and the future is not considered at all, because we are celebrating the moment of now, the present.

Now that I've explained it through, I do think it is a haiku.

haiku [(heye-kooh)]

A form of Japanese poetry. A haiku expresses a single feeling or impression and contains three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, respectively.

An Angel's Serenade

Amidst the wings and halos, there's one angel singing a serenade:

"My love is dear and kind
and he was never that hard to find
one day I slept in the heart of the ocean
then came god's greatest Creation:
my Love, my Other Soul.

He came across the deep ocean
our eyes met and set without motion
I saw him, he saw me,
we saw god
within those stars that twinkle and sparkle.

As soon as we've found the Other Soul,
we musn't lose our own souls into the big, black hole
invisible to the eyes and mind
However, love is never blind ---

With my love, we will be One
wherever, whenever, whatever we want
even in the big, black hole
we will survive together as One whole.
Love is power."

She is definitely not a fallen angel.

Shhh

Shhh

silence

aloof and nonchalant

without a care in the world

i stood still

in silence

waiting for the rain to stop

waiting for the sun to shine

waiting for someone to come

waiting...

is it worthwhile?

good for nothing

that day comes once in a blue moon

should i stay in mediocrity

or should i follow the Sun?

SHHH...

…silence.

I am...

I am...

Some say I'm good, others say I'm bad;

Some say I'm nice, others say I'm naughty;

Some say I'm diligent, others say I'm slothful;

Some say I'm smart, others say I'm dim-witted;

Some say I'm independent, others say I'm vulnerable;

Some say I'm matured, others say I'm childish;

Some say I'm intellectual, others say I'm dull;

Some say I'm prudent, others say I'm inept;

Some say I'm a lady; others say I'm a girl;

Some say I'm Stacia; others say otherwise.

...Whatever people say, I am who I am.

Death

DEATH

Pieces of a dream shattered in my mind

Voices of spirits, I hear them whine

Visions of skeletons appeared out of paroxysm

As though they repleted me with terrorism

Requiem of my funeral replayed

Eternal perfunctory rendezvous with it, I had

My death was a phenomenon

By ablazing fire of hell, my everything was gone

The abominable muttering of spirits

Subjugate my plenipotentiary thoughts

As now I am going through reincarnation

My surroundings are enshrouded with falseness, agony and termination

Plumages and feathers disseminated

Thoughts of realized sins I had done disembowelled

I saw the light of hope

The next life I will be able to cope

To rejuvenate a new life, this is my will

Lost... but Safe

Lost… but Safe

At the brink of tears
I held my breath
I swallowed hard to bear the pain
My heart was fired with depression
As someone deeply loved was gone for now

Through my eyes I see only grey and dirt
Dust blinded me to cause redness all over
I am left alone now
With no one comforting me
And no one consoling me

But soon I realized
I still had all the ones that I loved
I breathe out the great relief
As the sun fights its way among the clouds
I still have hopes and dreams to live

I am safe.

Paradise

PARADISE

Listening to the ocean breeze
Where sea gulls calling out at ease
Watching the slow-swaying palm trees
I feel like I’m in paradise

In an open field with children
Running place to place, to and fro
Basking in the sun as it burn
Towards the flora as they grow
I feel like I’m in paradise

Found my knight in shining armor
Riding a white horse with glamour
He protects me through the danger
Fighting enemies with anger
Tightly hugged me, gently kissed me
I feel like I’m in paradise

The Heart

THE HEART

"Knock, knock,"

It swings open to beat faster

It welcomes the good cheer

It races when the agitation gets hyper

But it is not opened for everyone

As there must be that special someone

That it dare not expose itself to

For the fear of being stranded

For the doubt of being unloved

For the anxiety of being unaccepted

It ignores the countless knockings

But still that someone is patiently anticipating

For the beautiful soul to announce her semblance

As he knows that behind the quiet cynical mirage

There is another alluring reflection

Facing his shadow of doubts

Why does it not open for me?

Am I not worthy enough?

Am I not much of a value?

The more the psyche cries

The more the tear dries

For the sake of her true colors she savor

She left her significance apart from herself

By the heavy barrier that keeps them so distant

Yet so close to each other if she believes

She finally trust her will for freedom of worries

And succeeded to perish the strong barrier

And there he stands right in front of her

Glad to tardily absolve the sadness within

How did she do that?

How did she destroy the forceful palisade?

He and she know not

Yet you and I realized that

Just by simply opening our hearts

Everything will become as unbroken as the sky…

The One

The One

I dreamt of his visage
I crave for his touch
I long for his perceiving

Then I told you everything

I told you about his eyes that I desire
I told you about his lips that I admire
I told you about his face that I adore
I told you about his body that I savor

You minded, you cared

You listened, you attended,
You observed, you concentrated
Then you changed…

You gave me joy and laughter

You lend me a shoulder to cry on
You heed my tales and stories
You valued my psyche as a whole

Of all I cherished

Was that you developed affection
While I was unconscious

About the way we were

Until then that you confessed

And then I analyzed

Then was the time I was knocked
As I doubt for your long-awaited anticipation for me

Are you still there or not
Are you tired enough to move on?

I exerted with all my might

To come clean with it

I did not expect reaction

I expected rejection

But you were still there

From vague to vivid

Though I fell back then

I am now taking off again

Why am I falling for you?

Is it because you are the one that guide me?
Is it because you are the one that take my hand?
Is it because you are the one that can make me fly?
Yes, it is because you are The One

You have always been there

And will always be

Freedom

Photographs always don't do justice.
